On the occasion of Birth Anniversary of Lady Fatima Azzahraa (as), Dar Azzahraa Charitable Schools for orphans has opened its new building.
A ceremony has been held on this occasion and attended by many public figures such as religious authority representatives, academic people and politicians. The attendance included also figures from outside Iraq. The ceremony witnessed a lot of activities, including plays, chants, poems and speeches.
In his speech, the Secretary General of the Al-Anwar Foundation, Sheikh Ali Al-Najafy thanked all the attendance and the participants who made this project succeed. He continued “The first thing which the religious authority cares about is raising an educated generation which would be shielded by the religious and national principles.”
Al-Najafy further emphasized the schools caring for orphans, especially Iraqis and also said that His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life) always called for caring for orphans and supporting them with what they need.
The building of the schools is of four storeys containing, in addition to the main classes, scientific laboratories designed as per the requirements of the modern technology. In addition, there are many halls: medical hall, dental hall and others.
All the labs and halls were supplied by modern devices, including computers and other devices.
In teaching, the schools are using the round tables to make the students work in groups; this method is considered the best one in making the student practice and learn.
